MOXIBUSTION THERAPY
Wormwood, thanks to its herbal power, is used during the Moxibustion therapy which belongs to the traditional Chinese medicine therapy using Moxa that last to be burning mostly without flames and bad odour. In this case wormwood has a beneficial and positive effect on the whole organism. Among another treatments belongs the procedure carried out by dull candles in the shape of cone made of flaxen or cotton linen coated in the beeswax.
After the candle is ignited, it is carefully placed at the beginning of ear canal and during its entire burning it creates a warmth and a slight vaccum. Warmth itself adjusts the blood circulation and vaccum on the other hand influences beneficially the whole system of sinuses that became clogged caused by diseases, malfunctions or infections. Candle therapy also helps clean up the ears from earwax. Except for the above mentioned effects, this method helps stimulate the acupunctural points placed deep in the inner ear canal near by the eardrum which are normally almost not accessible.
